My name is Marek Paul, and I’m the founder of Paul’s Spirit. This website was created to share my passion for the outdoors and help others enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, wildlife, and adventure.

My Story

I was born in the Czech Republic, where my passion for the outdoors began long before I ever imagined creating Paul’s Spirit. Some of my earliest memories are of quiet mornings by the water, walking through forests, watching wildlife, and discovering the peace that only nature can offer. Those experiences taught me patience, respect for the environment, and the understanding that every day outdoors brings a new lesson.

Hunting, fishing, and exploring wild places have never been just hobbies—they are a way of life. Whether standing in a river before sunrise waiting for the first cast, hiking through mountain trails in search of wildlife, or spending hours in a tree stand observing nature, I have always believed that the greatest adventures are found outside.

Professionally, I built an international career in the automotive industry across Europe and the United States, leading global logistics projects, vehicle launch programs, and process improvement initiatives. Managing complex projects, working with international teams, and solving challenging problems taught me discipline, preparation, and attention to detail—qualities that are equally valuable in the outdoors.

Today, I proudly call South Carolina home, where I continue exploring its lakes, rivers, forests, and public hunting lands. My adventures also take me across North America, from mountain trails and remote fishing waters to some of the continent’s most remarkable hunting destinations. Every trip is an opportunity to discover new places, test equipment in real conditions, improve my outdoor skills, and share honest experiences with others
